Batul’s father was killed in the War and the family had to flee to South Sudan. Her mother work at the local market selling peanuts and doesn’t not earn sufficient money to feed her to send her children to school.
Batau looks after her younger siblings and helps her mother with the household choirs .
Volleyball is her favourite sport. She made lots of friends through Green Kordofan. When she is playing, she can forget her worries. She joined Green Kordofan in 2018.
Batul benefitted from the charity which gives her a different focus, purpose and energy away from the cares and responsibilities of everyday life.
